Carlitos back in Paris

Despite a double injury to his foot and back, Carlos Alcaraz will be present at the Paris Rolex Masters, which takes place at the Accor Arena in the French capital from October 30 to November 05. The tournament holds a special place in the still young career of the Spanish prodigy. In 2021, he came up against Frenchman Hugo Gaston in a rather hostile atmosphere in the round of 16 and collapsed, losing lucidity and confidence. Alone against all, after this defeat, he burst into tears under his towel. And yet, a few moments later, he writes "I'm sure I'll come back stronger and I'll have learned my lesson". Knowing how to bounce back is an essential criterion for reaching the highest level. Carlos has demonstrated this over the years, notably in 2022 and even more so this year. What's more, the French public were much more supportive of him at the last Roland Garros, and he is now a household name. Even if Carlitos isn't at the top of his game, he'll certainly be keen to finish 2023 on a high note and show Parisian tennis fans the full extent of his talent.
