Carlitos looks ahead to 2024

The prodigious Carlos Alcaraz will certainly not be number 1 at the end of the 2023 season. His Asian tour was disappointing, as he was physically borrowed. He has also given up the Basel tournament in order to try and play well in Paris at the Rolex Masters 1000 at the end of October. Yet Carlitos already has his sights set on 2024, giving him plenty of optimism and reason to believe he'll have a great season. And the recent statements about him by Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer should encourage him: "Alcaraz is great. He's still young and everything he's achieved is fantastic. And not just on clay or hard court. Winning Wimbledon against Novak in the final is no joke". Carlitos needs to find the right balance to hold his own physically and, above all, to have serious fun when he plays, which is one of his strengths. He and his staff are well aware of this. It's enthusiasm and hard work that will enable him to continue to delight his fans and win new titles. Why not in Paris in a few days' time?

VAmos Carlitos!
