Powerful Alcaraz in 1/4

43 winners. He's back with all the freshness and pugnacity he's known for. Carlos Alcaraz played a near-perfect match against Serbian Kecmanovic, ranked 60th in the world. An expeditious victory in 3 sets (6-4, 6-4, 6-0) without ever having been troubled. And what we really appreciated was Carlitos' new-found smile, his desire to please the crowd while remaining serious and concerned about his match, and with a great deal of respect for his opponent.

Another point is that, despite the absence of his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, who was detained in Spain for knee surgery, the Murcian can count on his team to motivate and support him with every ball. We even saw his agent Alberto Molina say "ahora", now, to break him at the start of the 3rd set to finish quickly and save himself for the next matches. Another reason for satisfaction was Alcaraz's maturity, as he became increasingly adept at tightening up his game when necessary.

Alcaraz, currently number 2 in the world, now prepares to take on the formidable Alexander Zverev, seeded n°6. With a 4-3 record in Zverev's favor in their previous encounters, the match promises to be thrilling. Alcaraz, confident and in top form, is ready for the challenge. He has mentioned in interviews that he expects an intense match, knowing that he and Zverev always bring a high level of tennis when they meet. Carlitos acknowledged as much in his post-match interview.

Rendezvous and we remain very confident for our Spanish protégé.

Vamos Carlitos!

Michel
