Vamos Carlitos: be strong at the US Open

It's no secret that Carlos Alcaraz's quest for a second consecutive US Open title won't be easy. There are several reasons for this:

- statistically, the last person to take up this challenge was the great Roger Federer, who succeeded himself every year between 2004 and 2008. No one has achieved this feat since.

- Novak Djokovic is here this year (he has been absent for 2 years due to his non-vaccination with Covid 19) and he has announced that defeat is not an option. Above all, he has the opportunity to steal the 1st world ranking from Carlitos and to equal Margaret Court's record for the number of Grand Chlems titles won (24).

- All the more so as the draw has provided an easier draw for the Serb than for our great Carlos. This includes a possible duel with Jannick Sinner again in the quarter-finals. The Italian, who has just won the Toronto Master 1000 in Canada, is determined to shine this year and, why not, win his 1st major title.

- Carlitos is more motivated than ever and his popularity since last year has only grown. Whatever happens at this 2023 edition of Flushing Meadows, he's had a great season. He's a confident competitor.

So, we wish you the best of luck and make us vibrate, Vamos Carlitos!
